We combined soft shades of Knit One, Crochet Too Parfait Solids and unexpected touches of luster, DMC Rayon Embroidery Floss, with a Fair Isle band and a unique textured diamond pattern on the lower edge.

21 sts and 26 rows = 4 in. with Knit One Crochet Two PARFAIT SOLIDS in St st with larger ndl.

BODY: With MC and 24 in. smaller ndl, CO 180 (200, 220, 240) sts. Join without twisting, place marker (pm) bet first and last st and after st 90 (100, 110, 120). Work 14 rnds of Chart A. Change to larger ndl and St st. Work 22 rnds of Chart B. With MC only, work even in St st until body meas 13 (13, 14, 14) in. from beg, ending 8(10, 12, 13) sts before marker on last rnd. Divide for Front & Back: BO 16 (20, 24, 26) sts and place on holder for front, k to 8 (10, 12, 13) sts before next marker, BO 16 (20, 24, 26) sts, k to end of rnd.
Back: Note: Work in rows from this point. Dec 1 st each end EOR 3 (3, 4, 5) times – 68 (74, 78, 84) sts. Work even until armholes meas 6 1/2 (7, 71/2, 8) in., ending with a WSR. Shape neck:
Next row (RS): K 20 (22, 23, 24), join second ball of yarn and BO next 28 (30, 32, 36) sts for back neck, k 20 (22, 23, 24). Working both sides at the same time with separate balls of yarn, dec 1 st at each side of neck every row 3 times. Work even until armholes meas 7 1/2 (8, 8 1/2, 9) in. BO rem 17 (19, 20, 21) sts for each shoulder.
Front: SI sts from holder to larger ndl. Join MC at right armhole. Work front as for back until armholes meas 41/2 (5, 5 1/2, 6) in., ending with a WSR. Shape neck: Next row (RS): K 21 (23, 25, 26), join second ball of yarn and BO next 26 (28, 28, 32) sts for front neck, k 21 (23, 25, 26). Working both sides at the same time with separate balls of yarn, dec 1 st at each side of neck EOR 4 (4, 5, 5) times. Work even until armholes meas same as for back. BO rem 17 (19, 20, 21) sts for each shoulder.
SLEEVES: With MC and larger ndl, CO 33 (33, 41,41) sts. K 1 row, p 1 row. Est pat (WS): K 1, (work Row 1 of Chart C) 4 (4, 5, 5) times. Work even in est pat until 10 rows of Chart C are complete. Next row (RS): K, inc 3 (5, 1, 1) sts across row – 36 (38, 42, 42) sts. Working in St st, inc 1 st at each end every 4 (4, 3, 3) rows 19 (19, 21,24) times – 74 (76, 84, 90) sts. Work even until Sleeve meas 17 (17 1/2, 18, 18) in., ending with a WSR. Shape cap: BO 8 (10, 12, 13) sts at beg of next 2 rows. Dec 1 st each end EOR 3 (3, 4, 5) times. Work even for 11/2 (1 3/4, 1 3/4, 2) in. above last dec. Dec 1 st each end EOR 3 times. BO 7 sts at beg of next 2 (4, 2, 4) rows, then 8 (0, 6, 0) sts at beg of foil 2 (0, 2, 0) rows. BO rem 16 (16, 20, 20) sts.
FINISHING
Sew shoulder seams. Collar: With RS facing, using MC and 16 in. ndl, PU and k 28 (30, 32, 36) sts along back neck, 20 sts along right edge, 26 (28, 28, 32) sts at front neck and 20 sts along left edge – 94 (98, 100, 108) sts. Join, pm bet first and last st. Purl 1 rnd, dec 6 (2, 4, 4) sts evenly -88 (96, 96, 104) sts. Work 11 rnds of Chart C, making sure to center diamond pat at front neck. BO loosely. Sew Sleeves into armhole.
Shoulder band: Beg at first underarm dec, with MC and 24 in. smaller ndl, PU and k 3 sts for every 4 rows in first body st next to Sleeve cap seam. K 1 row. Next row: BO 5 sts knitwise, p to end of row. Mark center st and 17 sts on each side of this st. Remove center marker. Est pat (WS): BO 5 sts purlwise, k to first marker, work Row 1 of Chart D to last marker removing center marker as you come to it, p to end of row. Work in est pat, keeping sts bet markers in Chart D and rem sts in Rev St st, at the same time BO 5 sts as before at beg of each row. Work until Chart D is complete. BO rem sts knit-wise.
Sew Sleeve seams. With color E, work duplicate sts on lower band as shown in Chart А.
